Palms - Singapore Botanic Gardens

Today we took Mum to the Botanic Gardens. We haven't been before (how slack of us). It dawned on me all the things I'll miss when i leave. Here's a rough list in no particular order:

The green, abundant vegetation
The summer days all year round
Being able to swim everyday
Having a pool in my building
Cheap as chps Asian food right outside my home
Taxis that come when called
Taxis that cost peanuts
Friends
Shops that stay open till 9pm everyday
Supermarkets that deliver on weekends
Baby groups
Pregnancy support groups
Pregnant friends
Changi Airport
Closeness to bali and Lombok (and Thailand etc etc)
Cheap It supplies (and Cameras, and printers and inks and film etc )
Drain Cats
Air conditioning (never thought I'd say THAT)
humidity (ditto for this)

and more to come as I think of them.....
