My old life - Monday, December 13, 2004
watch this space... old photo coming soon
its funn y looking back at your past incarnations. Today I spent some time delving into my past whilst sorting through some old boxes in my parents garage. Old letters from Penpals far and wide, past loves and best friends still present in my life made me smile. Old photos of special moments and bad hair.
I am such a nostalgic. I love old stuff... Its hard to let it go. I had crates of old magazines which I culled to half but couldn't bear to completely eradicate. Some stuff I know is junk. But its my junk. Junk that meant something to me when I was little. I can't wait to share it all with my tiny one when she is bigger. I know I may even throw it all out then. But I want her to know what I was like before I was a boring old Mummy.
Toys, Dolls, Ornaments, magazines, pictures from walls of bedrooms long since re-wallpapered.
One day, when she's big she can see it all.

Happy Birthday Mum! - Sunday, December 12, 2004
Today it was Mum's birthday. Lib and Brad and Mum and Dad came down for lunch. We had a roast Rack of lamb and orats vegetables and Lib baked a raspberry and chocolate cake. It was great to get everyone down to our little home in Aldinga before we have to leave next week. A lovely Sunday! Hopefully Mum had a nice day too.
Love you Mum!

A Christmas Angel - Monday, December 06, 2004
Merry Christmas 2004
Its only 19 days till the fat man comes. Maeve went and sat o n his lap and had her picture taken last week and she was all smiles. Next year I;m sure she'll be a little more afraid.
I can't believe its Xmas time already! This time last year I was carefully avoiding all alcohol and trying not to let on that I was "up the duff". Now our little angel is almost 5 months old and about to celebrate her first road trip cross country from Adelaide to Sydney,. and her first festive season. She already ahs her gifts. A brand new Car seat and travel cot YAY! And when we get settled she'll get a real cot too. Lucky Maeve. As for Simon and I we are trying to play it frugally since we aren't working. Simon hoeps to get his pilots licence so that wil be his gift. As for me? I'd love for Maeve to sleep through the night for me. That will make me one happy mummy!
Merry impending Xmas everyone!
