pregnant sisters - Monday, June 26, 2006

Lib 38.5 weeks, Jen 20.5 weeks

How wonderful for two sisters to be pregnant together.
I just had a lovely few days in Adelaide spending quality albeit busy time with my sister Lib who is positively glowing with her first child's impending birth only 10 days away!

Grandma and Bompa spent quality time with Maeve and she had a ball and I also fit in my 20th school reunion which was excellent. Its been 20 years since I saw almost all of those girls and we all just slotted back together like it was yesterday. Belly and all I managed to stay out well past my bedtime and arrived home after half an hour sitting outside an old friend's father's home until 2.30am. Phew!

Hope Lib doesn't mind me posting this shot but its such a lovely reminder of this very special time in both our lives.

Today we visited Uncle Brad and Monty (and Aunty Lib too but Uncle Brad and Monty were much bigger hits today!)

Maeve especially liked the bean bags!

playing piano wth Grandma and baby

Maeve has been having a lovely time with Grandma. She drags the piano stool over ad climbs up and clunks away. She empties the cupboards and makes tea parties on the dining room table. She even has her own drawer of plastic things in the kitchen. It was so lovely seeing them both get to know each other so much better. And to watch all the hugs and kisses.

Thanks Grandma for a lovely few days!

large ladies who lunch - Friday, June 23, 2006

lib (38 weeks), Anna (23 weeks), Anna (34 weeks) and Jen (21 weeks)

Lib and I had a girly day together being pregnant and shopping for baby things. It was a bit of a whirlwind day but lovely. We also had the pleasure of joinging my frined nna and her frined Anna for coffee. It was a whole new world for Lib who has only just finished working. It was quite funny to see all those bellys together.

Good luck girls!

Just ONE story - Thursday, June 22, 2006

bedtime stories with Bompa

Apparently when I was small I used to say "last one" "One more". Maeve is following in my footsteps with demands at bedtime or any time of day for that matter for "One story", "Just one" even after she has had 5, and she holds up her ltitle crook'd finger. Who can resist that!

Jen, Maeve , Karina and Daisy playing Pass the parcel

Today was Nicola's first birthday party. A lovely day with pas the parcel being a huge winner. Maeve got 4 chupa chups and 4 Milky Way bars which I confiscated! Lovely to see Veronica and Dario and their big girl ( who is trying to walk) and also to see Karina and Lochie after so long!
